Highly Anticipated Debut
On February 1st 2024, Lise will make her debut at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall, singing Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder with The Met Orchestra conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
Lise recorded the Wesendonck Lieder for her 2021 album “Beethoven Wagner Verdi”, but this is the first time she has sung them with The Met Orchestra.
In addition to the Wagner songs, the orchestra will play Bach’s Fuga (Ricercata) BMV 1079 as orchestrated by Webern, and Mahler’s 5th symphony.
