A Season With Tosca!
This autumn, Lise will be singing Puccini’s Tosca in four locations around the world.
She opened the season at Staatsoper Unter Den Linden in Berlin, with her stage debut as Floria Tosca, with Freddie de Tommaso as Cavaradossi and Gerald Finley as Scarpia. Conducted by Zubin Mehta.
Lise said: “Of all the roles I have done, Tosca is the one that surprised me the most - that I could and would sing it - but now I hope that I’ll sing this music, and this amazing role, for as long as I can.”
She now moves on to the second stop of her Tosca world tour: Munich.
At the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Lise will again be joined on stage by Freddie de Tommaso as Cavaradossi, with Scarpia sung by Bryn Terfel and conducted by Oksana Lyniv - on September 23rd, 26th, 29th and October 2nd - for tickets click here: https://www.staatsoper.de/en/productions/tosca
After Munich, Lise will sing Tosca at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in November, and the Vienna State Opera in December.
